The American Dental Association advises flossing daily in order to minimize the build-up of cavity- and gum disease-causing bacteria and plaque within the mouth. While you may think that thoroughly brushing twice a day may do the trick, that’s just not the case. If you’re included in the majority of the population that doesn’t floss on a daily basis, it may be worthwhile to consider changing your ways, and here’s why.
