Meet Our Richardson Dental Team
Our dental team is truly the heart and soul of our practice. They’ll be the friendly voice on the phone when you call in, the smile that greets you at the door, and the helpful hand that guides you through your appointments. Each member has been hand-selected by our doctors based on their training, experience, and personality. Together, they’re able to provide our patients with a truly personalized and welcoming dental experience. Below, you can get to know some of the friendly faces you’ll meet here at Canyon Creek Family Dentistry of Richardson.
Anita, Insurance Coordinator
Have a question about your insurance benefits? Want to know which procedures you’re covered for and for how much? Anita is happy and able to answer all of your insurance-related questions! She has almost 17 years of experience working in dentistry, and in that time, she has learned all of the ins-and-outs of dental insurance. Her favorite part of her job is helping people meet their dental needs and easily afford their dental care.
A Dallas native, Anita has two grown children and likes to watch movies as well as craft various things by hand.
Afsaneh, Office Manager
Afsaneh is a hygiene graduate of the Baylor College of Dentistry and has over 20 years of experience serving patient’s smiles. Her favorite part of her job has always been helping patients understand more about their dental health. In addition to her university education, she is also certified in soft tissue management and dental practice management.
She is happily married with 2 boys-- one who is in law school and one who plays football for A&M Commerce. Her hobbies include shopping and watching college football, and she’s well known around the office for always being happy and positive.
Behnoosh, Dental Hygienist
Behnoosh is one of our practice’s excellent hygienists. Originally a dental assistant, she attended Sandford Brown College in Dallas to further her knowledge in dentistry. Her current certifications include Nitrous Oxide Monitoring and Laser Periodontal Therapy. Taken together, such skills and training have made her time with patients and colleagues highly enjoyable.
Having grown up in Iran, Behnoosh currently lives in-state with her husband and daughter. As for her interests, she likes to travel, workout, shop, and read. Whatever the activity, though, she always strives to be caring and passionate in her efforts.
Maryam, Registered Dental Assistant
Maryam is a highly-experienced dental assistant, having worked in the field for over 15 years. She studied at Everest College to prepare for the role. Given her certifications in orthodontics, dental X-rays, and coronal polishing, this background serves her well at work. It also lets her meet plenty of new people!
Originally from Tehran, Maryam lives with her two sons and a sweet extended family. Her hobbies include nail artwork and meditation. At the same time, she considers herself a social person who’s great at keeping people calm and relaxed.
